Neoprene is a good choice! They are perfect for cold-water fishing, but do remember they are pretty fragile. But back to business, if you need the neoprene chest wader – Caddis Men’s Stocking Foot Wader is your choice.

Among the general types of waders, I’d go for Ouznong. Yet, the most durable is, I reckon, the Azuki Boofoot specialised for fly fishing.

Honestly, I don’t think that the brand matters that much – every brand has a kick-ass wader. Yet, if you want a brand to focus on – go for Caddis.

These waders must be waterproof, protective, and preferably lightweight. As you would spend time in a house on a river or pond, you don’t want water constantly leaking into your clothing. The fabric should be thick and durable enough to provide protection from any objects in the water. If the wader is lightweight, you’ll be able to move faster and stay in the water for longer without getting tired.
